The prize

1. One prize: the board of sixteen ceramic glaze test tiles made by Ian Foote, as shown in the photographs on the entry page.
2. The prize is awarded as one lot. The tiles will not be split, and no individual tile is available separately.
3. These are working test pieces, not finished retail items. They are supplied as they are, with the marks, chips and wear you would expect of tiles that spent years screwed to a board in a working factory. No warranty is given as to their condition.
4. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.

Entering

5. Entry is free and open to New Zealand residents aged 16 or over.
6. One entry per person. Duplicate entries, judged on the name, email and phone number given, are removed before the draw.
7. Entries close at 11.59pm on Monday 7 September 2026, New Zealand time. Entries received after that are not counted.
8. Employees of Morris & James and their immediate families may not enter.

The draw

9. The winner is drawn at random from all valid entries on Tuesday 8 September 2026.
10. The winner is notified by email, using the address given at entry. If we cannot reach the winner within seven days, we may redraw.
11. The drawer's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Collection and delivery

12. The winner may collect the board from Warkworth, as it is, including the wooden board, at a time arranged with us.
13. If the winner would rather it was sent, the tiles are removed from the board and the winner covers the cost of shipping. The board itself is not sent.
14. We pack carefully, but ceramics are fragile and shipping is at the recipient's risk.

Your details

15. We collect your name, email address and phone number solely to run this ballot and to contact the winner. They are held by Morris & James in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020, are not sold or passed to third parties, and are deleted within twelve months of the draw.
16. You may ask to see or correct your details, or to be removed, by emailing marketing@morrisandjames.co.nz.
17. We may publish the winner's first name. We will not publish contact details.

General

18. The promoter is Morris & James Matakana.
19. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta.
20. We may amend these terms or withdraw the promotion if something outside our control makes it necessary. Any change will be posted on the entry page.
